So, I stopped by BassPro on 7/22 to grab a few last minute things for a fishing trip/vacation I'm leaving for tomorrow. Since it was right around lunch time when I was done, I decided to grab a beer and a bite at Uncle Buck's. I sat at the bar which is directly between the two sets of bowling lanes(which makes it a little loud). This small annoyance was overshadowed by the experience of watching a group of kids have an absolute blast bowling, and the surreal underwater vibe the decor gives you. Mind you, I don't have kids of my own, so if you're looking for a place to get away from your rugrats, this place probably won't be of any relief.
The server/bartender was great. Super cool, friendly, professional, and attentive. Food was what I expected. I ordered the calamari and a half side salad. I crave fried calamari and it's damn near impossible to find the good stuff. This was the average stuff. I would have been pleasantly shocked if it had lived up to my impossibly high deep-fried cephalopod standards. The salad was a salad, but it was made with those delicate greens that are usually already rotting in the bags at your market, or after spending a day in your fridge. These were perfect and fresh.
Day two! 7/23 Had to go back to exchange a duffle bag for a smaller size. Guess that means I gotta go try a burger (and a beer)...Sat in the dining area which was quieter, but lacked the super cool feeling of eating on the seafloor :).  Really decent burger comes with more fries than a fat-ish guy can eat, and again, a great, friendly server.
This is bar food folks, not fine dining. I want at least one room of my house to be decorated like this joint. If I had kids, I would highly suggest they take up the sport of bowling so I could hang out here. Will still probably return to check out the Happy Hour.
Stop with the Groupon crap. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a positive review by a Groupon poster. Not sure if that has to do with the service specially reserved for Groupon customers, or the personalities of the people who use Groupon coupons....Be nice, and pay these businesses. Oh! and tip your servers. Do you want to do their job? It ain't easy. We're lucky to have them with the cost of living around here!

The aquatic decorations and underwater lighting ambience is beautiful!   Food (appetizers) is reasonably priced enough; love the calamari and it's sweet chili sauce.
As for bowling, there are several modes you can play in, aside from the usual, such as this half game where everyone plays 5 turns and points are calculated by pins downed... great when nearing the end of the hour.
Ask check in for railings if needed.
    Employees were helpful.
Now requires you to wear bowling shoes.

Purchased a Groupon when I had family coming to visit.
Turns out there are no reservations for bowling so the first visit I was told to be there before open the next day to get on the list.
So I showed up put our name on the list an hour before they opened. I was told to come back at 3pm. Not convenient, but fine.
Showed up at 3pm and was told another group had priority and I wouldn't be bowling that day.

My family came back a month later and I decided that since the house was 15 minutes away I would just sit and work at the alley and when my turn came up I would call them and we'd bowl.

Unfortunately, staff hassled me multiple times about my Chemotherapy pump (I have cancer) and accused me of shop lifting.

Literally all I had done was email from my phone on a bench. And get up to use the bathroom ever 25 minutes, a side effect of chemo.

Value of the Groupon is apparently still able to be applied, but I'd rather slit my wrists than support this business.

Located inside Bass Pro Shop, Uncle Buck's is an aesthetically stimulating environment which is totally kid-friendly. They have a hanging display of marine life with tall ceilings and murals of an "under the sea theme". It's a bowling alley that serves food at the lane and they have a separate dining area, but don't expect fine dining. It does have a full bar, and the establishment is clean, spacious, and it has good AC.

They serve sandwiches and burgers as well as appetizers, tacos and main entrees. They do have some unique dishes: alligator appetizer and tacos; wild boar burger, deep fried pickles.  The main dining area has three TVs, but you can't hear what's going on due to the bowling in the background and the music (and there are no subtitles).

I wasn't impressed with the food, nor the service; but, ambiance is family-focused and good for sports fans.

Why such the low ratings?!.. this place is fantastic! My kids and I came here to go bowling and had an amazing time. I can't give the place 5 stars because I didn't have try any food or drinks to critique so my review is solely on the bowling alley itself. Be prepared to be bowling under the sea! My kids loved it! They did not skimp on the decor theme one bit, from the ceiling to the floors your surrounded by sea creatures, blue waves, lights, fish nets, etc.. there's a bar right in the middle. Place was clean, plenty of bowling balls to choose from. I came on a summer weekday, mid afternoon and wasn't busy at all. Plenty of lanes to choose from. $32/h per lane + $4.99 shoe rental. Not bad. They do have a Groupon, or they did. Staff was super helpful and friendly. I have no complaints and my kids can't wait to go back!
